Today, I'd love to share more about myself and what we’re building here at Genki.
My Story
Born in a small village in the north of Italy, I discovered early that my curiosity for the world ran deeper than my roots. My first adventure? Three months in Germany as a gelato maker - a perfect warm-up for what came next: a life-changing exchange year in Hong Kong during high school.
Life doesn't always follow a straight path, and that's exactly what makes it beautiful.
This spirit of exploration eventually led me to embrace the digital nomad life in 2020, and by 2022, my passion for travel and connecting people found its perfect match at Genki (where I started as a customer!).
My favorite quote? It’s inspired by Darwin's law: "It is not the strongest of the species that survives but the most adaptable."
Genki Story
Genki's journey began in 2018, when Marc, one of our Co-Founders, grabbed his laptop and hit the road to become a digital nomad.
Along the way, Marc discovered what so many nomads and long-term travelers have experienced: when you leave home to travel and live in other countries, taking care of your health gets a lot harder.
We started Genki to make it easier.
